Snow Reporter's Update

November 8, 2023 - 06:50 am

Greetings, Beast Fans. We hope everyone is having a great time getting back on snow. The grooming team was out overnight smoothing Rime and Reason so be sure to get here early for some fresh cord. The weather will be partly sunny and breezy, with temperatures will be in the mid 20’s so the snow should be dry and firm. Thanks to cold temperatures returning, our snowmaking team fired up the guns again to resurface open terrain, expand terrain and continue to prep Superstar for the World Cup.

Be aware, terrain is only suitable for advanced and intermediate skiers and riders currently.

The K-1 Express Gondola will spin from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (last ride up at 3:00 p.m.) and North Ridge Quad will spin from 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Last run-down Rime and Reason is at 3:30 p.m. We’ll use the Peak Walkway to get to and from the North Ridge Area for skiing and snowboarding – yes walking is required. All skiers and riders will download the K-1 Gondola at the end of the day.

We’ve also been busy making snow on Superstar from top to bottom in anticipation for the Stifel Killington Cup. Superstar will not open to the public until after the event.
