Story Transcript:

En: It was a sharp and cold day in Oslo, the city located in the heart of Norway.

En: A boy named Lars, along with his two good friends, Ingrid and Henrik, decided to have some fun.

En: In the center of Oslo stands a statue sculpture of its significant son, King Carl Johan.

En: Many people take pictures here, and Lars, a boy who loves taking selfies, was no exception.

En: "Henrik, I'm going to take the best selfie here.

Nb: Se på dette!"
En: Look at this!"

Nb: sa Lars og kom nærmere statuen.
En: Lars said and approached the statue.

En: But just as he extended his arm, he crashed into a pole next to the statue.

Nb: BAM!

En: Although it was a fleeting moment, both Ingrid and Henrik burst into laughter.

En: They couldn't believe what had just happened.

Nb: Lars rødmet, flau over det klumsete øyeblikket.
En: Lars blushed, embarrassed by the clumsy moment.

En: But he couldn't help but laugh with his friends.

Nb: "Du er så klønete, Lars!"
En: "You're so clumsy, Lars!"

Nb: sa Ingrid, prøver å puste fra all latteren.
En: Ingrid said, trying to catch her breath from all the laughter.

En: "Yeah, look before you click," Henrik laughed.

En: Lars chuckled too, even though he was a little shy.

Nb: Han glemte stolpen, men husket deretter gleden han følte med sine to beste venner.
En: He forgot about the pole but then remembered the joy he felt with his two best friends.

En: And even though he was a bit annoyed at Ingrid and Henrik for laughing at him, he knew they were good friends who loved laughing together with him.

En: And just like that, in the cold of Oslo, with a king's statue as the backdrop and laughter as the echo, Lars realized that even though things may not go as planned, it's not always a bad thing.

En: Because sometimes they end up becoming good memories you can laugh about, especially with good friends.

En: So even though Lars bumped into a pole that day, he gained something even more valuable - a memory he and his friends will remember and laugh about for a long time.

En: And even though Henrik and Ingrid laughed at his failed selfie attempt, all three of them knew they would always be there for each other, no matter how many poles Lars runs into.

En: And from that day on, Lars, Ingrid, and Henrik look back on that day and smile.

En: Because even though it may be embarrassing, it's these moments that make life worth living.

En: That day was a day full of laughter, friendship, and an unforgettable memory they will cherish forever.
