Assad grew up in the west end of Newcastle, in a bustling Asian neighbourhood full of loudness and drama, where his love for storytelling was born. He’s fascinated by human nature and how we navigate relationships, ambitions, fears and everything in between. He’s had the privilege of exploring these as an actor and now curious to explore as a writer
