This episode was recorded before we knew that the Saint John Marathon by the Sea has been cancelled permanently after 27 years, a sad day indeed. Low runner turnout, higher costs and a lack of volunteers were some of the reasons given. There is a lot of work put into these races and if you are losing money and not getting the results you want it makes sense. Danny and Nick are here to talk about Legs for Literacy this year in Moncton as well as all the changes they have made and all the work that has gone into this race. I have to say it sounds fantastic and after all, we have been through a nice race would be wonderful. We hope everyone gets involved somehow, running or perhaps being a volunteer, maybe even putting your own relay team together. Anything to not let Legs for Literacy go the way of the Dodo bird and become extinct. So we hope you enjoy these changes and we hope you get involved.
