Levítico 27: Dedicados por completo.

Levítico 27:28-34:
28 “No se venderá ni se rescatará ninguna cosa que alguien haya dedicado por completo al SEÑOR, de todo lo que posee, trátese de personas, de animales o de los campos de su posesión. Todo lo dedicado por completo será cosa muy sagrada al SEÑOR.
29 “Ninguna persona bajo anatema podrá ser rescatada. Morirá irremisiblemente.
30 “Todos los diezmos de la tierra, tanto de la semilla de la tierra como del fruto de los árboles, pertenecen al SEÑOR. Es cosa sagrada al SEÑOR. 31 Si alguno quiere rescatar algo de sus diezmos, añadirá una quinta parte a su valor. 32 Todo diezmo del ganado vacuno o del rebaño, de todo lo que pase bajo el cayado, el décimo será consagrado al SEÑOR. 33 No lo examinará si es bueno o malo ni lo sustituirá. Si lo sustituye, el animal y su sustituto serán sagrados; no podrán ser rescatados”.
34 Estos son los mandamientos que el SEÑOR ordenó a Moisés para los hijos de Israel, en el monte Sinaí.

Este es el último capítulo de este libro. Desde el capítulo 15 al 25 vimos la cuarta parte de Levítico que compone las últimas leyes enfocadas en la santidad del pueblo. Vimos varias leyes de redención, reconciliación y santificación.
Ayer vimos la lista de las bendiciones, maldiciones y la promesa de restauración al pueblo.
Hoy terminamos viendo el orden de consagración de personas y de cosas.
Ya vimos que cuando una persona hacía un voto para consagrarse a Dios, debía traer una ofrenda.
Cuando se consagraba un animal o un objeto como una casa o terreno, también había un orden del ritual para la consagración, un precio establecido para la ofrenda especial.
También había una ofrenda y ritual para liberar a algo o alguien del voto de consagración. Usualmente se pagaba la quinta parte, o sea, el 20% si deseaba rescatar algo que había prometido consagrar temporalmente.
Pero la persona o el objeto que era dedicado a Dios completamente y los diezmos que se entregaban al Señor, esos no eran rescatables; se debía entregar definitivamente al sacerdote para que sea presentado al Señor. Era considerado santo y no había nada que cambiará esa posición. Siempre sería santo.

Esto me muestra la importancia cuando dedicamos nuestras vidas al Señor. El día que entregamos nuestras vidas a Él, ese día nos convertimos en la posesión más valiosa ante los ojos de Dios. Venimos a ser su pueblo escogido y nación santa para Dios. Dios pone sobre nosotros una cobertura especial para que seamos fortalecidos, protegidos y bendecidos.
En cambio, el que vive en maldición, bajo las obras de Satanás, no existe precio para que sea rescatado. La única forma es cuando alguien decide venir a los pies de Jescuristo y ofrecer su vida como ofrenda santa. He aquí la importancia de consagrar nuestras vidas al Señor y no vivir bajo maldición.

Te invito para que traigas a tu familia y la consagres de forma definitiva al Señor. Dile al Señor que tu quieres que tu familia sea una familia santa para Él, que sea una ofrenda de olor agradable permanente en su presencia, y que lo corrija y guíe en el momento que sea necesario para no apartarse del camino. Que reconocemos el precio invaluable de sangre que costó nuestra redención y consagración, y que no queremos que nadie nos separe de su presencia.

No olvidemos el núcleo de la enseñanza de este libro: seamos santos para Dios.
Levítico 19:1‭-‬2 dice: “El SEÑOR habló a Moisés diciendo: “Habla a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel y diles: ‘Sean santos, porque yo, el SEÑOR su Dios, soy santo.”

Leviticus 27: Fully Dedicated

Leviticus 27:28-34:
‘Nevertheless no devoted offering that a man may devote to the Lord of all that he has, both man and beast, or the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted offering is most holy to the Lord. No person under the ban, who may become doomed to destruction among men, shall be redeemed, but shall surely be put to death. And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord. If a man wants at all to redeem any of his tithes, he shall add one-fifth to it. And concerning the tithe of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the Lord. He shall not inquire whether it is good or bad, nor shall he exchange it; and if he exchanges it at all, then both it and the one exchanged for it shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.’ ”
These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.

This is the last chapter of this book. From chapter 15 to 25 we saw the fourth part of Leviticus that composes the last laws focused on the holiness of the people. We saw various laws of redemption, reconciliation and sanctification.
Yesterday we saw the list of blessings, curses and the promise of restoration to the people.
Today we finish seeing the order of consecration of people and things.
We have already seen that when a person made a vow to consecrate himself to God, he had to bring an offering.
When an animal or an object such as a house or land was consecrated, there was also a ritual order for the consecration, a set price for the special offering.
There was also an offering and ritual to release someone or something from the vow of consecration. A fifth part was usually paid, that is, 20% if he wished to rescue something that he had promised to temporarily consecrate.
But the person or the object that was dedicated to God completely and the tithes that were given to the Lord, those were not redeemable; it was to be delivered definitively to the priest to be presented to the Lord. They were considered holy and there was nothing that would change that position. They would always be holy.

This shows me the importance when we dedicate our lives to the Lord. The day we give our lives to Him, that day we become the most valuable possession in the eyes of God. We come to be His chosen people and a nation holy to God. God puts a special covering over us so that we can be strengthened, protected and blessed.
On the other hand, the one who lives under the curse, under the works of Satan, there is no price to be rescued. The only way is when someone decides to come to the feet of Jesus Christ and offer His life as a holy offering. Here is the importance of consecrating our lives to the Lord and not living under a curse.

I invite you to bring your family and consecrate them definitively to the Lord. Tell the Lord that you want your family to be a holy family for Him, to be an offering of a permanent pleasant smell in His presence, and to correct and guide them when necessary so they don't stray from the path. That we recognize the priceless price of blood that our redemption and consecration cost, and that we do not want anyone to separate us from His presence.

Let us not forget the core of the teaching of this book: let us be holy to God.
Leviticus 19:1-2 says: “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.”
