Levítico 9: ¡Dios quiere manifestar su poder!

Levítico 9:1-6, 22-24:
1 En el octavo día Moisés llamó a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a los ancianos de Israel. 2 Y dijo a Aarón: “Toma para el sacrificio por el pecado un becerro del ganado, y para el holocausto, un carnero sin defecto; y ofrécelos delante del SEÑOR. 3 Después hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: ‘Tomen un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el pecado, y un becerro y un cordero, sin defecto, los dos de un año, para el holocausto. 4 Asimismo, tomen un toro y un carnero para el sacrificio de paz, que sacrificarás delante del SEÑOR, y una ofrenda vegetal mezclada con aceite; porque el SEÑOR se aparecerá hoy a ustedes’ ”.
5 Llevaron al frente del tabernáculo de reunión lo que Moisés mandó, y toda la asamblea se acercó y estuvo de pie delante del SEÑOR. 6 Entonces Moisés dijo: “Esto es lo que ha mandado el SEÑOR. Háganlo, y la gloria del SEÑOR se les aparecerá”.

22 Después Aarón alzó sus manos hacia el pueblo y lo bendijo. Y descendió después de ofrecer el sacrificio por el pecado, el holocausto y los sacrificios de paz. 23 Luego Moisés y Aarón entraron en el tabernáculo de reunión. Al salir, bendijeron al pueblo, y la gloria del SEÑOR se apareció a todo el pueblo. 24 Entonces salió fuego de la presencia del SEÑOR y consumió el holocausto y los sebos sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todo el pueblo gritó de gozo, y se postraron sobre sus rostros.

Este capítulo describe el momento donde, por primera vez, se ofreció el primer sacrificio por los sacerdotes y por el pueblo, especialmente porque el Señor había dicho que se iba a manifestar de forma sobrenatural.
Cuando Aarón hizo todo lo que el sacerdote debía hacer, haciendo los respectivos sacrificios sobre el altar y en su debido orden, ¡la gloria de Dios se manifestó de forma poderosa, consumiendo todo el sacrificio que estaba sobre el altar! ¡Fuego del cielo consumió el sacrificio!
Esto representa la manera en que Dios se manifiesta cuando ve a alguien que está agradándole. Alguien que hace las cosas rectas y justas. Cuando nos presentamos delante del Señor junto con nuestra familia, el Señor ve nuestro caminar y desciende de forma poderosa, confirmando que Él se agrada de nuestro caminar, mostrándose de una forma clara, visible y maravillosa.
Cuando los apóstoles vieron que Jesús resucitó, y se fortalecieron en el Señor, ellos recibieron un último mandato: que se quedaran en Jerusalén para que recibieran el poder del Espíritu Santo. En el día de pentecostés que es una fiesta que se celebra 50 días después de la pascua, los discípulos estaban reunidos en oración, en armonía y en sana convivencia, seguían ayudándose y animándose los unos a los otros, ¡en ese momento cayó fuego del cielo! Pero no un fuego que consumía sino que saturaba a 120 personas que se encontraban en el aposento alto.
Así, de esta manera, Dios estaba demostrando que se agradaba de ese grupo de personas que habían dejado el temor, habían creído la voz del Señor, que no se desanimaron y que anhelaban con pasión esa promesa del Espíritu Santo.
Acerca de la manifestación de Dios, el pueblo de Israel no sabía cómo se iba a manifestar el Señor pero estaban seguros que los iba a sorprender. Ellos gritaron de alegría y cayeron postrados ante el Señor.
Los discípulos tampoco sabían exactamente como sería, y cuando comenzaron hablar en otras lenguas magnificando al Señor, se escuchó por toda la región alrededor, y ahí entendieron que esa fue la promesa profetizada por el profeta Joel que profetizó que muchos recibirían visiones y palabras de profecía, tanto jóvenes como ancianos.

Espero que tu y yo seamos como ese holocausto perfecto, consagrados al Señor, para que su fuego descienda maravillosamente y nos sature de poder.
Estamos viviendo tiempos difíciles. Existen muchas iglesias que se llaman cristianas pero no creen ni enseñan acerca del gran poder de Dios. Pero todavía hay tiempo para que consagremos nuestras vidas al Señor y veamos esos prodigios y milagros que Dios quiere hacer por medio de sus hijos, para que muchos crean que Dios todavía quiere manifestarse cuando alguien o un hogar, o una comunidad comienzan a hacer lo correcto, y Dios pueda mostrar su poder y su gloria.

Leviticus 9: God wants to manifest His power!

Leviticus 9:1-6, 22-24:
It came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. And he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord. And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering, also a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.’ ”
So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. Then Moses said, “This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.”

Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people, and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

This chapter describes the moment where, for the first time, the first sacrifice was offered by the priests and the people, especially because the Lord had said that He would manifest Himself supernaturally.
When Aaron did everything that the priest was supposed to do, making the respective sacrifices on the altar and in their proper order, the glory of God was manifested in a powerful way, consuming all the sacrifice that was on the altar! Fire from heaven consumed the sacrifice! This represents the way God manifests Himself when He sees someone that is pleasing Him. Someone who does right and just things. When we present ourselves before the Lord together with our family, the Lord sees our walk and descends in a powerful way, confirming that He is pleased with our walk, showing Himself in a clear, visible and wonderful way.
When the apostles saw that Jesus had risen, and were strengthened in the Lord, they received one last mandate: to stay in Jerusalem so that they could receive the power of the Holy Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, which is a feast that is celebrated 50 days after Easter, the disciples were gathered in prayer, in harmony and in healthy coexistence, they continued to help and encourage each other, at that moment fire fell from the heavens! But not a fire that consumed but saturated 120 people who were in the upper room.
Thus, in this way, God was showing that He was pleased with that group of people who had no fear, who had believed the voice of the Lord, who were not discouraged and who passionately longed for that promise of the Holy Spirit.
Regarding the manifestation of God, the people of Israel did not know how the Lord was going to manifest Himself, but they were sure that He was going to surprise them. They shouted for joy and fell prostrate before the Lord.
The disciples did not know exactly how it would be either, and when they began to speak in other tongues magnifying the Lord, it was heard throughout the surrounding region, and there they understood that this was the promise prophesied by the prophet Joel who prophesied that many would receive visions and words of prophecy both young and old.

I hope that you and I are like that perfect holocaust, consecrated to the Lord, so that His fire descends wonderfully and saturates us with power.
We are living difficult times. There are many churches that call themselves Christian but do not believe or teach about the great power of God. But there is still time for us to consecrate our lives to the Lord and see those prodigies and miracles that God wants to do through His children, so that many believe that God still wants to manifest Himself when someone or a family or a community begins to do the right thing, and God may display His power and His glory.
