Episode: 2019.5. Episode # 37
The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari encourages you to create wins in life. Maybe you’re struggling with a mental illness, where some days, just getting out of bed can be difficult. Perhaps you are attempting to learn a new language or some other skill. Sometimes life is challenging and our goals take longer than we expected, but by celebrating each victory along your journey, you’ll find the motivation to make it through the setbacks.
Our first caller, Natalie, asks how she can manage stress in a healthy way when that negativity is coming from someone in an environment that should be safe. Nancy tells her to find a way to get through to that person in a way that they will understand by choosing a delivery method they will listen to. She also gives Natalie some tips on how to keep from losing hope by reminding herself that someday, she will be able to get out of that toxic situation. Tune in to hear how you can stay positive during anxious times.
Our second caller, Yury, wants to know how to balance school and life, particularly when it comes to time management. Nancy gives her a few of the strategies she personally uses to keep on top of her schedule, including planning a week or two in advance and making the next day’s to-do list the night before. Listen in to hear how to be more efficient with your time.
Our inspirational guest, Diana Moshier, was abused by her stepfather from the age of 5 to 15. To cope with the stress, she started drinking from the young age of 12 years old. Over the years, she struggled with finding herself and learning what love really meant, but eventually, she discovered peace with her past and now she strives to be there for others who have experience with abuse even as she maintains a life outside of motivational speaking, working in real estate. Tune in to hear how Diana created her wins throughout her life and found a path to live full out.
Our final caller, Anirban, asks how to find balance in his life now that he’s getting ready to start a family and he’s in the middle of his career. Nancy advises him to envision his life as a pie, with the slices representing various aspects of his life, like his relationship, his career, his social life, and any other parts he may be juggling, and then try his best to allot an equal amount of time to each slice in a given week. Listen in to hear how you can maintain balance in the different areas of your own life.
Maybe you’re working on a massive project for work or school and you feel as though tackling it is an impossible task. You might be dealing with a disability that makes just maneuvering through a room a challenging task. Get into the habit of looking at each movement forward as a reason to rejoice. By taking each day one step at a time, you will be living life full out.
