Story Transcript:

El: Στη μεγαλούπολη της Αθήνας, όπου οι κτίρια απλώνονται στον ορίζοντα σαν ένα πεδίο με σιδερένιες πέτρες, ζούσαν η Μαρία και ο Νίκος.
En: In the big city of Athens, where the buildings stretch across the horizon like a field of iron stones, lived Maria and Nikos.

El: Δεν ήταν τίποτα περισσότερο από συνηθισμένους ανθρώπους, μέχρι εκείνο το καλοκαίρι, που αποφάσισαν να να φύγουν για λίγο από την οικεία, αλλά δυνατή σύγχυση της πόλης.
En: They were nothing more than ordinary people, until that summer when they decided to take a break from the familiar, yet overwhelming confusion of the city.

El: Με μια απλή βαλίτσα γεμάτη ελπίδα, προσδοκίες και αναψυκτικά, ο Νίκος και η Μαρία ταξίδεψαν σε ένα μικρό νησιωτικό χωριό της Ελλάδας.
En: With a simple suitcase filled with hope, expectations, and refreshments, Nikos and Maria traveled to a small island village in Greece.

El: Οι λευκές ασβεστωμένες οικίες, τα γεμάτα με γαλάζια και ροδακινί λουλούδια παρτέρια, και οι πλακόστρωτοι στενοί δρόμοι έδωσαν στη Μαρία και στον Νίκο μια αίσθηση μαγευτικής απομόνωσης.
En: The white-washed houses, the gardens filled with blue and peach-colored flowers, and the cobblestone narrow streets gave Maria and Nikos a sense of enchanting isolation.

El: Όμως, αυτή η μαγεία χάθηκε αμέσως όταν κατάλαβαν ότι είχαν χαθεί.
En: However, this magic was lost immediately when they realized they were lost.

El: Φευ!
En: Oh no!

El: Οι στροφευτοί δρόμοι τους είχαν οδηγήσει σε ένα σύνολο άλλων στροφευτών δρόμων.
En: The winding roads had led them to a maze of other winding roads.

El: Απόγνωση!
En: Desperation!

El: Ζητούσαν οδηγίες από έναν φιλόξενο ντόπιο.
En: They sought directions from a hospitable local.

El: "Στρίψε αριστερά στον πλατάνο, μετά δεξιά στην παλιά βρύση, ανέβα στον ανηφορικό δρόμο και θα φτάσεις", τους είπε με ασφάλεια.
En: "Turn left at the plane tree, then right at the old fountain, go up the uphill road and you will arrive," the local said confidently.

El: Εμπιστεύτηκαν τις οδηγίες, αλλά κατέληξαν να είναι πιο μπερδεμένοι από πριν.
En: They trusted the directions, but ended up more confused than before.

El: Ο πλάτανος οδηγούσε σε άλλο πλάτανο, η βρύση σε άλλη βρύση, ο δρόμος είχε χιλιάδες στροφές αλλά κανένα τέλος.
En: The plane tree led to another plane tree, the fountain to another fountain, the road had thousands of turns but no end.

El: Καθώς βράδυαζε, αποφάσισαν να καθίσουν σε έναν βράχο δίπλα σε μια λέσχη γάτων.
En: As it got dark, they decided to sit on a rock next to a colony of cats.

El: Τελικά, δεν ήταν τόσο άσχημο το να χάνεσαι, αν και είσαι μαζί με τον αγαπημένο σου ενώ κοιτάς τη θάλασσα.
En: In the end, getting lost wasn't so bad, especially when you are with your loved one while gazing at the sea.

El: Δεν βρήκαν ποτέ το δρόμο τους πίσω στο αρχικό τους σημείο, αλλά εντοπίστηκαν σε έναν κόσμο αγάπης, απλότητας και έκπληξης.
En: They never found their way back to their original starting point, but they found themselves in a world of love, simplicity, and surprise.

El: Ο Νίκος και η Μαρία δεν ήταν πια χαμένοι.
En: Nikos and Maria were no longer lost.

El: Ήταν όμως, σίγουρα, εκεί όπου έπρεπε να είναι.
En: They were, however, definitely where they were meant to be.
