Story Transcript:

He: בקצה המערב של ירושלים, דוד, שרה ויעל נתקלו בקבוצה של גמלים ועזים.
En: At the western edge of Jerusalem, David, Sarah and Yael encountered a group of camels and goats.

He: המקום, שממוקם תחת הגבעות הקדומות של העיר, הוא ממלכת שיירת החיות המרשימה הזו.
En: The place, located beneath the ancient hills of the city, is a fascinating kingdom of these impressive animals.

He: דוד לא יכל להבין, למה גמלים ועזים בירושלים של מאה ועשרים אחוזים?
En: David couldn't understand why camels and goats were in Jerusalem of all places.

He: גם שרה ויעל תהו בלבן, הן התעלפו מהמבטים מבולבלים של החיות האלה.
En: Sarah and Yael were also puzzled, taken aback by the bewildered looks of these animals.

He: דוד, שמושך לבלבול ולאי הבנה מקטנע, החליט לפתור את החידה: האם גמלים ועזים מבינות את מושג הזמן?
En: David, attracted to confusion and lack of understanding from a young age, decided to solve the puzzle: do camels and goats understand the concept of time?

En: Without hesitation, he turned to the animals and began to explain the concept of time in simple words.

He: שרה ויעל התחילו לצחוק: "זה לא נראה שהם מבינים אותך!
En: Sarah and Yael started laughing, "It doesn't seem like they understand you!"

He: " אבל דוד לא התרשם והמשיך בהסבר.
En: But David was not discouraged and continued with the explanation.

He: השמש החלה לשקוע ולקרוא לקראת הליל, אבל דוד לא הפסיק.
En: As the sun began to set, signaling the approaching night, David did not stop.

He: אף שהחיות לא רגישות אליו, היו לו סיבות להמשיך: זה היה מאתגר, מצחיק, ואף גיבורי.
En: Even though the animals were not responsive to him, he had reasons to continue: it was challenging, amusing, and even heroic.

He: שרה ויעל, המקנאות בנחישות של דוד, התלהבו והחלו גם הן להסביר לחיות על מישורי התפיסה של הזמן.
En: Sarah and Yael, impressed by David's determination, got excited and began to explain to the animals about different perspectives of time.

He: כל הליל, דוד, שרה ויעל נשארו שם, מדברים עם הגמלים והעזים.
En: Throughout the night, David, Sarah, and Yael stayed there, talking to the camels and goats.

He: נהנו מתהליכי הלמידה הבלתי צפויים ומשוררת הרגעים החשובים האלו.
En: They enjoyed the unexpected learning processes and appreciated these important moments of connection.

He: כששחר הבקיע, דוד הבין שהגמלים והעזים כנראה לא הפכו להבין את הזמן.
En: As dawn broke, David realized that the camels and goats probably did not come to understand time.

He: אבל הוא, שרה ויעל הפכו להבין את החשיבות של הזמן שהם מבלים יחד.
En: But he, Sarah, and Yael came to understand the significance of the time they spent together.

He: אינה תלויה בתוצאה, אלא במהות מהלך הדרך עצמה.
En: It was not about the outcome, but about the essence of the journey itself.
