Luke Combs joins #MostRequestedLive and talks "Fast Car," being a dad, shotgunnin' beers and giving back to others.
He opens up about songs he listened to growing up, saying "my parents were always listening to anything and everything" and shares how being a dad has affected his songwriting, "definitely have a lot less time to sit around and write songs, I'll tell ya that much!" "When I'm home, I don't really do much else besides making food, changing diapers, rolling around on the floor - that stuff's awesome."
What's on his rider? "Mostly just mixed drinks" but he says he can shotgun a beer in under two seconds -which comes from a "lotta reps."
From the show at Gillette Stadium, where he brought up eight-year-old cancer survivor, Cooper, he shared his view on giving back: "The best part of the job is being able to do stuff for someone else. It's not what I can do for me or what I can buy for myself." "It's how can you make their life better by how lucky you've been able to be."
