Today is March 14th, 201, and it is Pi Day! The letter Pi is the sixteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, but the number Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi is an irrational number, one that never repeats and never ends - so usually we just abbreviate it to3.14, which is why we celebrate this mathematical constant on the fourteenth day of the third month!
