show moreFor those hitting the Gulf Stream today, it's a bit bumpy out there this morning, but things will gradually smooth out as we head into the afternoon. High pressure is on the horizon, so boating conditions should get even better as we roll through the weekend and into next week.
Heading closer to shore, for Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line up to 20 nautical miles, expect some moderate chop with northwest winds at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be around 3 to 4 feet, so hold on tight!
Tonight, those winds calm down to 5 to 10 knots with smoother seas of 1 to 2 feet. By Sunday, winds will shift to the east at around 5 knots, making for a much smoother ride.
Further out, from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line reaching 20 to 60 nautical miles, small craft should exercise caution this morning as northwest winds pick up to 15 to 20 knots. Seas could reach up to 7 feet, so prepare accordingly.
