Hey there, Florida water lovers! Let's dive into the forecast for our coastal waters so you can plan your aquatic adventures accordingly.

For the Atlantic coastal waters stretching from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef out to 60 nautical miles, and the Gulf coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee out 20 nautical miles and beyond, we're looking at some mild weather. Expect gentle easterly-southeasterly breezes hanging around today and tomorrow, with a possible switch to west-southwest winds later on. Keep an eye out for scattered showers and thunderstorms popping up each day. Remember, things could get a bit choppy near those showers and storms, so be ready for some extra wave action.

Good news is, no hazards are lurking in the Gulf Stream waters at the moment. And if you're curious about the Gulf Stream's current location, it's approximately not too far from the usual spots like Fowey Rocks and Lake Worth.

If you're sailing closer to Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach or from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef, here's what's on the horizon:

Today, expect east winds, smooth seas, and a light chop for Intracoastal waters. Showers might interrupt your Friday morning plans, transitioning into a chance of thunderstorms as the day progresses. In the evening and beyond, it's all about light breezes and calm waters, with a sprinkle of showers here and there for flavor.

For our boaters further down from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach, your day kicks off with east breezes, a possible shower or two, and a slim chance of morning showers. The afternoon brings a higher chance of showers and thunderstorms, so stay alert on the horizon.

As for Lake Okeechobee and Biscayne Bay, you're in for some similar conditions with light winds, smooth waters, and a mix of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the weekend.

No matter where you're headed in the Florida waters, always stay weather-aware and have a fantastic time out there!
