show moreThe Living Full Out show with Nancy Solari wants to show you how to overcome frustration. Perhaps there was a time when you felt you had run into a wall with your relationships or career goals. You may have tried changing your approach to a situation, only to run across a new obstacle. By choosing to remain optimistic, you can find the resilience to solve your problems. Having acceptance when you feel stuck can be an important step to finding the answers.
Our first caller is Laretta, who is struggling to move on from a past relationship. Nancy teaches Laretta that letting that partner go opens the possibility of another great romance. Instead of concentrating on the past, Laretta can fill her time with new experiences and interesting people.
Our next caller is Madelinne, who is having difficulty coping with being in a long-distance relationship. Nancy instructs Madelinne to find a time to talk with her partner to establish consistency. Madelinne can experiment with different modes of communication, like a phone call or face time, and see which works best. By pursuing activities she enjoys in the meantime, Madelinne can focus on personal development.
Our inspirational guest is Kristen Renton, an actress with lupus who appeared on Sons of Anarchy and Days of Our Lives. Going to multiple doctors that tried to dismiss her symptoms, Kristen chose to be persistent about getting a diagnosis. After discovering she had lupus, Kristen celebrated having the knowledge to improved quality of life. Now an ambassador for Lupus LA, Kristen uses her platform to educate others about the condition and provide encouragement.
Our next caller is Terril, whose mother is opposed to her boyfriend because he is from a different cultural and ethnic background. Nancy tells Terril to research relationships like hers to gain understanding of what to do to maintain it. Terril can find out why her mom is emotionally invested and find the best way to communicate.
Sometimes, you can take a break from what you are doing and find a way to relax. Doing something you love, like a hobby or fun activity, can calm you down. When you have peace of mind, you may be able to look at what’s happening in your life with a more open perspective. Viewing your issues through the eyes of logic instead of through negative emotions can illuminate what you need. By refusing to be overcome with frustration, you can move towards your goals and live full out.
