Long live Mike White March! Rather than going out with a bang, the month ends with a whimper, and that whimper is Bruce Beresford's Money Movers. Adapted from Devon Minchin's novel, the film follows a security firm reeling from an armoured-truck robbery as an inside job brews. It's a mediocre take on the crime and heist drama that drags more than it intrigues, though it does feature F/X's Bryan Brown, which is always a plus. We take one last ride into the Outback to tackle the disappointing film, chat about the Oscars, and indulge in some general cinema chit chat.
The Projection Booth's Mike White joins Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Money Movers, Bruce Beresford, Bryan Brown, the Oscars, and so much more.
