A woman was set to face a judge in Middletown Thursday on accusations of falsely reporting an active shooter at East Hampton Middle School.
While investigators were still trying to find out the motive, Monica Smith of Lebanon was hit with serious charges. The charges included falsely reporting an incident concerning injury or death, misuse of 911, and breach of peace.
