If a man falls for a woman with amnesia who thinks, talks, and sounds like a child, is he a creep? We continue Indian Cinema Month, timed to the launch of Bollywood Cinema Club, with Balu Mahendra's Tamil-language drama Moondram Pirai. Kamal Haasan stars as a schoolteacher who takes in a young woman who has lost her memory, played by Sridevi. It's an interesting take on the romantic drama that pulls no punches and gives its characters exactly what they deserve, and then some. The film was remade in Hindi as Sadma, but the Prime Video version suffers from subtitle issues. The Projection Booth's Mike White stops by to help answer that question and more.
The Projection Booth's Mike White joins Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Kamal Haasan, Sridevi, Balu Mahendra, and so much more.
