Aired: Jun 19th, 1935. Fibber and Molly steal away for a moonlit moment parked by the lake, trading sweet, flustered sweet-talk under the stars — until a mysterious thumping in Fibber's shirt pocket ruins the romance. Featuring a breezy "Rise and Shine" opener from Rico Marcelli's orchestra and a tender vocal of "In the Middle of a Kiss" by Gale Page, this early 1935 outing blends sponsor-sized tall tales about Johnson's Auto Wax with gentle, character-driven comedy.
