Chris and Neil present their Dream Scenario & Godzilla Minus One Review

Chris and Neil are back, back again, the guys are back, tell a friend. After the intro, they talk another Nic Cage vehicle, this time from A24 with Dream Scenario. Lots of buzz around this one. Then, after a nerdy Neil news segment, they get kaiju hard-ons with Japan's newest Godzilla movie, Godzilla Minus One. Also, lot o'buzz. They have fun.

Dream Scenario is a 2023 American black comedy fantasy film written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli. It is produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen under their Square Peg banner, alongside Nicolas Cage, Jacob Jaffke, and Tyler Campellone. The film stars Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, and Dylan Baker.

Dream Scenario premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023. It began a limited theatrical release by A24 on November 10, 2023, before expanding on November 22. The film received positive reviews from critics and was nominated for several awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Nicolas Cage.

Godzilla Minus One is a 2023 Japanese epic kaiju film directed, written, and with visual effects by Takashi Yamazaki. Produced by Toho Studios and Robot Communications and distributed by Toho, it is the 37th film in the Godzilla franchise, Toho's 33rd Godzilla film, and the fifth film in the franchise's Reiwa era. The film stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki. In the film, postwar Japan deals with the emergence of Godzilla.
