One of the key pieces of evidence against Bryan Kohberger is the touch DNA found on the button of the knife sheath that was left at the scene of the crime. According to the affidavit, the Idaho lab pulled the DNA from the button but after the lab examined the sheath, they had to send it out to a lab in Texas who specializes in the field and at that lab, it was determined, that Kohberger's DNA was on the button.
In this episode, we discuss the knife sheath, chain of custody of the sheath and how and if the Kohberger defense team could utlize this to their advantage.
