In Pennsylvania it is legal for police to go through an individual's trash as long as it is placed outside for collection, as it is considered to be abandoned and no longer protected by Fourth Amendment rights. In this episode, we take a look at the laws in Pennsylvania and why the authorities were well within their rights to conduct a trash pull operation at the residence of Bryan Kohberger.
