On this week’s show, Nancy and Chris are joined by Sophie Reynolds, Media Intern for Surrey Storm, which is part of the Netball Super League in the UK. With two games of the league played Sophie reviews how four of the the eleven teams are performing so far and offers her predictions for the rest of the season, which runs through June. While Netball is considered a Commonwealth sport, its popularity and support in player growth, fan base, government funding, sponsorship and media coverage has developed at a rapid pace over the past few years. It is now the fastest growing women’s team sport in the world. And Nancy shares her reaction to other news from around the world of women’s sport.
