•In the final days of this presidential election, big-name black and Hispanic entertainers have come out in support of President Donald Trump based on his policies. That has irked the left. Lil Pump, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent (before retracting), Ice Cube (working with the campaign on his plan for the black community), and others are rocking the boat prompting John Legend to quip at a Biden rally: “Some of your former favorite rappers have been taken in by these lies…”This follows Chelsea Handler reminding her ex-beau, 50 Cent, that “he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump.”
•To celebrities on the left, this is treasonous. They believe that minorities should vote alike and think alike and they dictate that it has to be for the left, not the right. To them, it’s bad enough that black people would choose not to support someone on the left. However, they are adding injury to insult by using their platform to encourage others to consider the policies of President Trump.
•Now, even black America’s “auntie” is speaking out. Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters so upset, she is withholding her forgiveness of independent-thinking blacks for supporting President Trump. Waters may never forgive blacks for being independent thinking, but her forgiveness is not what expands opportunities, reduces poverty, and makes their neighborhoods safer or more prosperous. Pro-growth policies of tax cuts, deregulation, criminal justice reform, and smart policing reform do.
