Yesterday, the House voted to impeach President Trump for "abuse of power" and "obstruction of Congress". The next step would be to hand over the articles of impeachment to the Senate so that the trial can begin. However House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is stalling on that due to the fact that she wants confirmation from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on what this trial will look like.
