Many Americans have been using the past couple of years to forge a new career path, and that’s certainly the case for Patrick and Beth Downing of Franklin. They come from a family of pharmacists, and they were working in the industry themselves. Now, they’re all-in with their new venture: GlenPharmer Distillery, where they embrace science as they come up with creative spirits. The couple talk with Nichole about their journey to becoming distillery owners, and what visitors can expect when they stop by the historic building in Franklin. On March 31, Boston’s COVID-19 eviction moratorium will officially be lifted. It’s been in place since last August to try and stop the spread of COVID, as officials worried evictions would contribute to the spread. Katie Forde with the Boston Office of Housing Stability explains to Nichole why the city is making this move, resources available to help renters in trouble, and programs that can help landlords get back on their feet, too.
