On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks with Haint live at Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire, UK.

After a brief discussion on pronunciation of the band name due to the tricky Northern Irish accent, that they are one of the many bands who got the opportunity to play here thanks to Metal to the Masses, this time being the Belfast contingent. They entered the competition in 2020 and thanks to the pandemic, resumed in 2022 and won their competition and played on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock.

Describing their music, they say it’s hard to pin them down to one genre, but their music could be described as peaks and valleys and sound scapey. They also say there is a lot of variety in the vocals and it’s totally a unique sound.

After Bloodstock, the guys are planning on releasing a lot more music, hopefully being a single every month until the end of the year, and then combine it all into one EP. They also have a few show around the mainland of the UK to look forward to.
