The Pipeman interviews Joel Hoekstra. The idea was from The Frontiers Music srl. It was put together by the label for a new up and coming artist named Nathan James. The new single is called No Where to Run. Brings that 70-80s style music. It starts with Joel coming up with guitar riffs. He would send it off the get arranging. After that it went to Nathan to write lyrics on it. June 17th Second Skin gets released from Frontier the label. It’s a constant record. Its hard to pick the best song on the project so Joel enjoys every song. He’s about to go out on tour a lot and looking forward to touring next year. The last couple years ended up becoming busier for him during the pandemic. He would teach lessons, produce, write and cameo during the pandemic. He really didn’t take time off. It was a different type of busy. It about being productive every day. Early at the beginning of the pandemic he took a moment to take some time off but got right back into it.
