On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks Ryan Waste from Municipal Waste, who have just released their new album Electrified Brain on July 1st.

Ryan tells us about the new album, saying it has been 22 years since they started and they had to keep up the same energy and not being able to play live music due to the pandemic helped them push even harder. Ryan agrees with Pipeman that pandemic has given them an opportunity to write some of the best music they’ve written because they were forced to get off the hamster wheel.

Upcoming, Ryan tells us about them playing Blue Ridge, as well as going out to Europe with Anthrax as a support artist, as well as heading out in August with At The Gates. Ryan gives us a full rundown of what the rest of the year will look like too.

Speaking about what his favourite place in Europe to play is, Ryan says they always had fun at Hellfest in France, which is where Pipeman has just returned from. Be sure to check out all the interviews he got out in France a couple weeks ago.
