What happens when an alien lands in India and starts asking questions about God? We continue Indian Cinema Month, timed to the launch of Bollywood Cinema Club, with Rajkumar Hirani's PK. Aamir Khan stars as the titular PK, who lands on Earth only to have the remote control that calls his spaceship stolen, sending him on a journey to get home that becomes a search for the true meaning of religion and what it means to be human. Jess Byard of Scary Stories We Tell joins to talk about Aamir Khan, his childlike wonderment, and the naive take on religion the film ascribes to.
Jess Byard of Scary Stories We Tell joins Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, religion, and so much more.
