Maggi pays tribute to her loving mother in her 2 CD set release, Southern Voice. This collection of poems narrated by Maggi herself over inspirational musical tracks includes reviews from her friends, Dolly Parton and Melissa Manchester.
Ms. Britton also shares stories from her time in newspaper advertising sales… achieving great success in a predominately male industry, both in Mississippi and in Nashville at the Tennessean.
Author of the official Tennessee Bicentennial poem and several inaugural poems for many of the state’s Governors, Maggi’s work includes dozens of published poetry books including her tribute to the historic Ryman Auditorium and country music, 50 Saturday Nights.
