show moreYou Know Everyhing about me (us). You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. And You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. (Psalms 139:1-5)
Father You know what I need before I even ask You. So, I Pray, therefore, My Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. Your kingdom has come, and Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven. You are My Provider, Who Gives me each day my daily bread. (Matthew 6:8-11)
You sent Your Own Beloved Son as my Good Shepherd Who Demonstrated the Depth of Your Great Love and Care for me by Jesus Laying Down His Own Life for me. And You with Him also freely and graciously give us ALL other things!
(Psalms 23:1, John 10:11, Romans 5:8, 8:32)
One of those Gracious Gifts is the Privilege of Entering into Your Rest, To Cease from your Own Labors and Efforts and Sit Quietly in the Presence of God and Be Refreshed By the Spirit of God and Christ Himself.
When you enter God's Rest you cease from the weariness and pain of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His Own in Genesis 2:2
For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. (Hebrews 4:9-11)
Therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest of God, to know and experience it for ourselves, that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience into which those in the wilderness fell. Hebrews 4:10-11
So cease from fretting and worry and learn to relax and rest-your mind at peace, peaceful and calm knowing God is in Control. He never leaves you Nor forsake You, He is your Helper.-Hebrews 13:5-6
He also says in Psalms 84:11: I AM the Lord God Who is your Sun and Shield; the Lord Who bestows present grace and favor and future glory, honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss! No good thing will I withhold from you who walks uprightly who trust Him are not put to shame.
You enter into his rest when you cease your labors or works and fully dependent on the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life you live and to fight for you. You enter into God's rest by believe The Holy Spirit's Divine Persuasion. You Relax and Give up the Struggle and Fight to Be Holy and You Depend on God Not Yourself, to give you the power to overcome and the strength to do all things through Christ Who Lives in You. – This Is the Mystery of Christ, Christ Living in You.
You Get to This Point, You Cease from Works Your Own Plotting's and Schemes to Get What You Want by Exerting Your Own Efforts and Ways. You are fully dependent on the Holy Spirit working in you and through you accomplishing greater than you can even think, hope, ask or match, directing you in wisdom and understanding moment by moment throughout the day.
LORD Jesus says to you: Stop being perpetually uneasy, anxious and worried about life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. For life is greater in quality than food, and the body far above and more excellent than clothing. (Matthew 6:25.
In Matthew 11:28-30 He says:
"Come to Me all who labor and are heavy laden AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me. For I’m gently and lowly in heart, AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"
Jesus Christ is the only one that can give rest to your souls.
