On day one, Elizabeth Marks tied her world record in the 100 backstroke and won the 50 butterfly. Ali Truwit broke the American record in the 100 backstroke, and Jessica Long secured wins in the 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke. Christie Raleigh-Crossley and Gia Pergolini also had standout performances.

Day two featured Morgan Stickney breaking her own world record in the 400-meter freestyle. Jessica Long continued her push for a sixth Paralympics with a win in the 100 freestyle, while Christie Raleigh-Crossley and Anastasia Pagonis added more victories. Summer Schmit delighted the local crowd with a win in the 400 freestyle. Hit it off with the GSMC Hoops and Heels Women’s Sports Podcast, brought to you by the GSMC Sports Network, for a recap of the Japan All-Star Series and discussion of Canada’s roster for the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals. In the Japan All-Star Series, Team USA, ranked No. 1, faced off against No. 2 Japan in a three-game series and were swept. In Game 1, held at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya, Japan, Team USA lost 1-0. Pitcher Kelly Maxwell shone with 11 strikeouts and only two hits over 6 ⅓ innings, but Japan scored the winning run in the final inning. Game 2 took place at Mt. Fuji Stadium in Fujinomiya, Japan, where Team USA lost 9-5. Despite a strong start, they couldn’t match Japan’s offensive power. Highlights included Skylar Wallace’s perfect 3-for-3 performance and Kinzie Hansen’s two RBIs. Game 3, held in Yokohama, saw Japan secure an 8-1 victory, completing the sweep. Skylar Wallace’s solo home run was the lone highlight for Team USA, which struggled offensively, managing only three hits.

Following the series, we discuss Canada's final roster for the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals in Italy.
