Rahim Samad (@rahimsamad) is a perfect blend of Hip-Hop. On one hand he utilizes his ear to provide the backdrop for the moment as a DJ. On the other hand he can rock a microphone and command a crowd as a MC. I talked with him about the different mindsets going into each job and what, if any, he could live without.
