Building a relationship with your children is of the highest priority, however, parents need to remember that it is neccessary and vital for you to be tough on them. Our children need our love and compassion, but also need direction with that stern voice of an Alpha parent. This will help mold them into the Next Generation of Alphas, the Next Generation of Leaders.

Life isn't easy. We all know that through our life experiences. We can not hide from teaching these experiences to our children. We have to be tough on them early, so they understand how to handle adversities, disappointments, and failures. At this time in their lives, they are resilient and can handle defeat. At this time they have us to fall back on and be their support. This is the time where we need to be tough on them.
