Raleigh-Durham's job market is heating up this summer, with a surge in hiring across technology, healthcare, education, and manufacturing. Within the past seven days, multiple employers have posted new opportunities ranging from entry-level roles to executive positions, appealing to both local talent and professionals considering relocation.

Tech roles remain strong, fueled by the area's reputation as a growing innovation hub. Companies such as IBM, Cisco, and Lenovo have all posted openings recently. IBM is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Research Triangle Park, with experience in AI and cloud platforms. Cisco is actively hiring for a Network Automation Engineer, offering hybrid work options and competitive benefits. Lenovo, headquartered in Morrisville, is searching for a Marketing Analyst and several IT support technicians to support its global operations.

Healthcare continues to be one of the region's largest employers, with Duke University Health System and UNC Health posting dozens of new roles. Duke is hiring Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Medical Assistants across multiple campuses, including Durham and Raleigh. They’re also seeking administrative talent, such as Patient Scheduling Coordinators and Clinical Data Specialists. UNC Health has listed several openings for Nurse Practitioners, Surgical Techs, and Behavioral Health Clinicians.

Education is another strong sector this month. Wake County Public School System is preparing for the new school year and has posted roles for experienced educators, paraprofessionals, counselors, and support staff. Openings include Elementary Classroom Teachers, High School Math Instructors, and School Psychologists. North Carolina State University is also hiring, with postings for academic advisors, lab coordinators, and IT support personnel.

Manufacturing and logistics roles are seeing steady demand. Biogen, a biotechnology company in RTP, has job listings for Manufacturing Associates and Quality Assurance Specialists. Meanwhile, Amazon has added several warehouse and delivery roles in its Garner and Morrisville locations. These positions often offer flexible shifts, tuition support, and health benefits from day one.

Startups in the Triangle are also on the rise. Topgolf Callaway’s new innovation center in Durham is looking for UI/UX Designers, Product Developers, and Data Analysts. Local biotech startup Kriya Therapeutics posted new scientific research positions this week, seeking candidates with cellular biology and gene therapy experience.

In finance and business services, Fidelity Investments has recently opened hiring for Financial Consultants and Customer Relationship Advocates at its RTP campus. Credit Suisse and MetLife are also scouting for compliance officers, finance analysts, and risk managers with hybrid and remote options available.

Many of the roles posted this week emphasize remote flexibility, competitive starting pay, and robust benefits—key factors for job seekers in today’s market. The Triangle’s low unemployment rate and continued regional growth suggest a strong hiring climate with opportunities for both recent grads and seasoned professionals.

For those exploring new roles, job sites like NCWorks, Indeed, and TriangleJobs list timely and detailed postings. With more companies expanding and relocating to the area, Raleigh-Durham remains a vibrant hot spot for those seeking meaningful work and career advancement.
