Ru: Над озером Байкал стояла роскошная ночь.
En: A luxurious night stood over Lake Baikal.

Ru: Луна светила ярко.
En: The moon shone brightly.

Ru: Лодка плыла по тихой воде.
En: A boat was drifting on the calm water.

Ru: В ней были Ростислав, Ксения и Николай.
En: In it were Rostislav, Ksenia, and Nikolai.

Ru: Вдруг начался шторм.
En: Suddenly, a storm began.

Ru: Волны били лодку.
En: Waves struck the boat.

Ru: На небе сверкали молнии.
En: Lightning flashed across the sky.

Ru: Небо стало тёмным.
En: The sky grew dark.

Ru: Лодка начала тонуть.
En: The boat started to sink.

Ru: Николай сильно ударил ногу.
En: Nikolai hurt his leg badly.
