Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck
=======================
I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. About Carrie and @QuickLearnQuests
===============================
I have been reading Tarot cards for 30 years for fun. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet.

Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Queen of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Queen of Swords upright is clear, direct, and wise. She cuts through confusion with clarity and intelligence and is often seen as the voice of reason in any situation. However, when the Queen of Swords appears reversed, her sharp clarity may turn harsh or overly critical. This card suggests a time when emotions may cloud judgment or communication might come across as excessively blunt or disconnected. The reversed Queen of Swords can indicate the need to soften your approach, bring more empathy into interactions, and ensure that your words are as compassionate as they are truthful. So what does that mean when we see the Queen of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Queen of Swords reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign to check how you are communicating. This card encourages you to soften your tone, embrace empathy, and consider how your words impact those around you. It may also indicate that you're feeling disconnected from your emotions. The reversed Queen of Swords reminds you that it's okay to let down your guard and approach situations with heart and mind. So, what is the best way to memorize the Queen of Swords in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Queen of Swords moment is remembering a manager who flipped between the Queen of Swords and the Queen of Swords reversed. She was pretty unpredictable, and a good or bad mood affected how she would deliver a message. She was clear, direct, and wise as a Queen of Swords. As the Queen of Swords Reversed, she had a reputation for turning over staff, because her temper created a lot of undue stress for people on her projects. I will never forget her for the opportunities she created for me. However, I will also never forget her for how she talked to people when she was unhappy. When I see the Queen of Swords, whether upright or reversed, I remember both sides of her. That's all for today's episode of the Queen of Swords reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening.
