Description
If you think you know the story of the life and death of Tommy "The Duke" Morrison, you might be very surprised to hear the mountains of evidence his widow...
show moreOn Aug.8, Trisha Morrison asked a Nevada court to re-open her husband's case, alleging that attorneys for the defendants (the Nevada State Athletic Commission and Quest Laboratories) knowingly lied and misrepresented the truth in previous hearings.
The Nevada Commission cancelled Tommy Morrison's fight with Arthur Weathers in 2006 (ostensibly a tune-up for a multi-million-dollar showdown with Mike Tyson) based on what Trisha Morrison says was false evidence that "The Duke" had the HIV virus in his blood.

Trisha Morrison joins us again this week to update us on the latest developments in Tommy's case.
We also hear from expert analysts Travis Hartman and John J. Raspanti, who break down Sergey Kovalev's remarkable battle with Anthony Yarde in Russia, which looks likely to be a prelude to a Kovalev-Canelo showdown. They also preview Luke Campbell's upcoming lightweight championship fight with pound-for-pounder Vasiliy Lomachenko, and they address the report that Andy Ruiz Jr. reported to training camp in terrible shape to begin preparing for his rematch with Anthony Joshua.
Dennis Taylor is host of The Ringside Boxing Show, editor-publisher of www.ringsideboxingshow.com, and co-author (with John J. Raspanti) of "Intimate Warfare: The True Story of the Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward Boxing Trilogy," an Amazon bestseller.
