show moreRussia’s state-owned Tass news agency reports that Admiral Gorshkov will call at the logistics base in the Syrian port of Tartus, following which it will participate in joint drills with the Chinese and South African navies.
South Africa's military announced it would next month hold joint military drills with Russia and China off its coast.
The drills will run for 10 days from 17 February to 27 February in the port city of Durban and Richards Bay.
