*This is a listener FAVORITE from Season 2. We are using a new format and recording style for Season 3 and beyond. We have kept this episode on the main feed as it was one that the listeners loved.
In this episode, Heather is joined by her sister Kim again; to discuss a killer from Eugene, Oregon who is STILL UNIDENTIFIED. With the new technology being used today (Parabon Nano Labs); police in Oregon have been able to link three cold case homicides to the same unknown suspect. What we do know is that the suspect is a MALE. The three victims are 62-year-old Gladys May Hensley (murdered in June of 1986), 33-year-old Janice Marie Dickinson (murdered in June of 1986), and 73-year-old Geraline Spencer Toohey (murdered in February of 1988). In this episode, you’ll learn what Parabon Nano Labs is doing to help solve cold cases and what Snapshot Phenotyping is. You’ll also hear an excerpt from Chapter 6 of Status Pending Podcast where this technology is being used in an unsolved case from 2004.
