The modern woman, defined, is someone who goes after what she wants without asking for permission or apologizing for it. She doesn’t wait for a man’s approval or blessing. She goes for her dreams. While that may sound empowered, in theory, the way you go after something speaks volumes. All too often, I see high achievers chase what belongs to someone else. I see the aspirationally successful run through caution lights and stop signs to have what amounts to someone else’s definition of success. Then when they arrive there, they are disappointed that it didn’t give them what they really desired. Today’s episode examines this success trap.
