show moreJoe begins admitting that he’s feeling extra dirty tonight. He admits that he started Dak Prescott over Jalen Hurts on his 11-1 ESPN Fantasy Football team, and he wonders (even if it’s not the time of the year to ask) if people avoid players if they play for your favorite team’s archrival? Joe says green is more important than your opponent’s team colors.
Joe started to talk about the news of Von Miller but got distracted by his friend SJ that entered the room and watched part of the stream. Check out her work at ballislife.com or go to SaraJaneGamelli on Twitch and on social media.
Joe admits that the Von Miller case does not look good right now with the domestic violence case against him. He allegedly had an incident with his pregnant girlfriend. Sometimes it’s hard to remember when you’re angry, but just don’t put yourself in that position.
Some Eagles news. Eagles/Seahawks was flexed to Monday night, which roiled some Eagles fans making the trip out west. Former Eagle Zach Ertz was released by the Cardinals. Some people want Ertz back in midnight green. Do you?
Bronny James has been cleared to play for USC after suffering a cardiac arrest episode over the summer. Despite advances in medicine and science, why is Joe still worried about the situation that occurred going forward?
Joe brings back his personal “forced sportsmanship” topic that he loves to bring up from time to time. He saw the other day that benches cleared in the Jacksonville/Robert Morris men’s college basketball game where all bench players were ejected from the game, and after the game, the teams did not line up to shake hands, which teams do. Do we need to have these young adults line up as Little Leaguers and shake hands? Joe (still) thinks it should be informal and not the sophomoric and Little League way the NCAA wants to force sportsmanship in college basketball.
Finally, Joe’s Philly Phade picks for the weekend are released.
