3-23-16
During this hour I guest host "The Leslie Marshall Show."
I'm joined by Colonel Cedric Leighton, Founder and President of Cedric Leighton Associates, a strategic risk and leadership consultancy serving global companies and organizations.
We discuss the security and political implications around the world following the terror attacks that took place in Brussels this week. Colonel Leighton also explains whether torture, including waterboarding, is an effective way to gain usable intelligence from suspects. This, following GOP-frontrunner Donald Trump indicating that he'd authorize waterboarding and "far worse" forms of torture against suspected terrorists as president.
Colonel Cedric Leighton founded his consultancy in 2010, after serving in the US Air Force for 26 years as an Intelligence Officer and attaining the rank of Colonel.
He has held assignments all around the world and at every level of command, to include tactical deployed units, the US Special Operations Command, national agencies, as well as the Joint Staff in the Pentagon.
As of November 2015, Colonel Leighton acquired his new position as a Military Analyst for CNN.
His Twitter handle is @CedricLeighton and his website is www.CedricLeighton.com.
