I'm thinking of Selena Quintanilla Perez today; raised as a Jehovah's Witness. A songstress that brought us songs like Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, I Could Fall In Love, Dreaming of You, I'm Getting Used to You, Missing My Baby, and more.

Selena left us on March 31, 1995. I believe that those that are absent from the body and present with the Lord are not really dead in the fist place according to the things I read from the good book. Spiritual discernment is given, and when you're close to God, you can know that you have a heavenly family.

Selena said, " I give thanks to God for having in Christ a companion, a true friend, and a good heart. I'm quite normal. I pay rent and eat. I love kids. I would love to have a family. But .... I have a lot of time for that. That is more .... for the future."
