Selena Quintanilla - Queen of Tejano. She was a star. She was known as Selena. She was great in music, dance, and fashion. In 2020, Billboard magazine put her in third place on their list of “Greatest Latino Artist of All Time.” I believe Selena could have been the greatest artist of all time period, but her life and career was cut short. Or should I say the greatest female artist of all time?

Selena had a super voice and a super spin when she danced just like Michael Jackson. Like him, she was a natural born singer & dancer. Selena was learning Michael Jackson’s moves. I’ve seen her on a very short video dancing around. However, at the same time, she was doing her own dance moves.

She sang her own songs in Spanish & some in English, but was starting to sing great English hits like Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” & Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”. FunkyTown by Lipps Inc.

Selena had the look of a fashion model, and was beautiful no matter what she wore or what she did on stage. She had it all, and she still has a big affect on fans this very day. Selena can’t be forgotten. ..
