Salmos 15:1‭-‬5 RVA2015:
Oh SEÑOR, ¿quién habitará en tu tabernáculo? ¿Quién residirá en tu santo monte? El que anda en integridad y hace justicia, el que habla verdad en su corazón, el que no calumnia con su lengua ni hace mal a su prójimo ni hace agravio a su vecino; aquel ante cuyos ojos es menospreciado el vil pero que honra a los que temen al SEÑOR; aquel que, a pesar de haber jurado en perjuicio suyo, no por eso cambia; aquel que no presta su dinero con usura ni contra el inocente acepta soborno. ¡El que hace estas cosas no será movido jamás!


Este es un salmo muy hermoso porque empieza con una pregunta y después nos da la respuesta.
La pregunta es para que nos la hagamos a nosotros mismos y a la vez poder enseñar a la nueva generación que quieren acercarse a Dios.
La pregunta es: ¿Quién habitará en tu tabernáculo? ¿Quién residirá en tu santo monte? En otras palabras: ¿Quién podrá estar en la presencia de Dios? ¿Quién es digno de vivir cerca de Dios?
Recordemos que en la antigüedad el tabernáculo era el lugar de adoración que estaba erigido en la ciudad santa Jerusalén, sobre el Monte de Sión.
Las personas que llegaban de diferentes partes de Israel lo hacían con la intención de traer ofrendas y sacrificios al Dios de Israel. Aquí el salmista nos da una lista de cómo debía ser la forma de vivir de estas personas que se preparaban para traer ofrendas al Señor.
De la misma forma, si queremos vivir vidas sinceras como un cristiano verdaderamente transformado por Dios, aprendamos, practiquemos y sigamos estas cualidades:
Primero, tiene que llevar una vida intachable y hacer lo correcto, diciendo la verdad con corazón sincero.
Segundo, que no se presta al chisme ni le hace daño a su vecino, ni habla mal de sus amigos.
Tercero, se aleja de pecadores malintencionados, pero que honra a quienes siguen fielmente al Señor.
Cuarto, que mantiene su palabra y cumple lo que prometen, aunque salga perjudicado.
Quinto, que presta dinero sin cobrar intereses y no acepta sobornos para mentir acerca de un inocente.

El salmista finaliza declarando que esta clase de persona permanecerá ¡firme y para siempre!
Pienso que estás cualidades han sido muy claras en enseñarnos quien realmente merece estar ante el Señor, y que va a permanecer victorioso porque Dios traerá bendiciones en abundancia por caminar con rectitud, por vivir una vida justa que agrade al Señor.
Así que, si realmente queremos acercarnos a Dios, sin culpabilidades ni engaños, preparemos nuestras vidas para vivir de acuerdo a estas virtudes de aquel que quiera entrar a la presencia de Dios cuando alabamos, adoramos y exaltamos a Dios en oración.
Ya no necesitamos ir con nuestras familias a Jerusalén para traer ofrendas al Señor. No, solo hay que llevarlos en oración y viviendo vidas íntegras, ejemplares delante de Dios y de los que nos rodean.
Declara como los hizo Josué delante del pueblo: “Yo no sé si ustedes van a ser infieles a Dios, viviendo en la vida pasada como en Egipto, o se van a corromper con estilos de vida que se enfrenten en el futuro en la tierra de Canaán, pero yo y mi casa serviremos al Señor.”

Considera:
¿Vivo en integridad o falsedad?
¿Estoy viviendo una fe tradicional y superficial o una fe viva y profunda?
¿Estoy evaluando mi forma de vivir continuamente?
¿Cuál de estas cualidades necesito fortalecer en mi vida?

September 30: Qualities to be in God's presence.

Psalm 15:1-5:
Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart; he who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honors those who fear the Lord; he who swears to his own hurt and does not change; he who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.


This is a very beautiful psalm because it begins with a question and then gives us the answer.
The question is for us to ask ourselves and at the same time be able to teach the new generation that wants to draw closer to God.
The question is: Who will dwell in your tabernacle? Who will reside on your holy mountain? In other words: Who can be in the presence of God? Who is worthy of living close to God?
Let us remember that in ancient times the tabernacle was the place of worship that was erected in the holy city Jerusalem, on Mount Zion.
People who came from different parts of Israel did it with the intention of bringing offerings and sacrifices to the God of Israel. Here the psalmist gives us a list of how the way of life should be for these people who were preparing to bring offerings to the Lord.
In the same way, if we want to live sincere lives as a truly God-transformed Christian, let's learn, practice and follow these qualities:
First, has to lead a blameless life and do the right thing, speaking the truth with a sincere heart.
Second, does not gossip or hurt the neighbor, or speak ill of the friends.
Third, turn away from malicious sinners, but honor those who faithfully follow the Lord.
Fourth, keep his/her word and fulfill what he/she promises, although he/she gets harmed.
Fifth, that lends money without charging interest and does not take bribes to lie about an innocent person.

The psalmist ends by declaring that this kind of person will stand firm and forever!
I think that these qualities have been very clear in teaching us who really deserves to be before the Lord, and that he or she will remain victorious because God will bring abundant blessings for walking with integrity, for living a righteous life that pleases the Lord.
So, if we really want to get closer to God, without guilt or deceit, let us prepare our lives to live according to these virtues of the one who wants to enter the presence of God when we praise, adore and exalt God in prayer.
We no longer need to go with our families to Jerusalem to bring offerings to the Lord. No, you just have to take them in prayer and living lives of integrity, exemplary before God and those around us.
Declares as Joshua did before the people: “I do not know if you are going to be unfaithful to God, living in the past life as in Egypt, or you are going to be corrupted with lifestyles that you will face in the future in the land of Canaan, but I and my house will serve the Lord. "

Consider this:
Do I live in Integrity or falsehood?
Am I living a shallow, traditional faith or a deep, living faith?
Am I continually evaluating my way of living?
Which of these qualities do I need to strengthen in my life?
