In the previous episode Kelly explains the function of the gamma, beta, alpha, theta and delta brain waves. The brain waves operate in conjunction with the Perineural system and gut biome to establish homeostasis for our nervous system. Manipulation of these hormones are possible via mindfulness, boxed breathing and meditation. Different brain waves are associated with different activities and states of mind. Zee makes a comparison of Tourettes with the short term state of concentration coupled with interruptions from images and memes from social media illuminating what we are subject to when so ensconced in scrolling and reacting.

In this episode O, Kelly and Zee discuss the use of artificial intelligence for analysis of our reactions to social media, our dislikes, likes and outrage being measured by clicks, interaction and analysis of text. These measurements are then fed to other AI applications that identify further content to display. Or worse, these applications introduce other users to interact with us, as though herding us. Chat GPT is a focus and its natural language processing in mental health is discussed.

We have been manipulated. Severed Conscience is a prison of the mind.
