Dakota Jablon serves as the Director of Federal Affairs at the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV), where she uses her public health background to advocate for evidence-based gun violence prevention policies on Capitol Hill. An expert on firearm suicide prevention, she also serves as the Suicide Prevention Specialist at CSGV’s sister organization, the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence. Prior to joining CSGV, Dakota worked for now retired Congressman Henry Waxman and his successor, Congressman Ted Lieu. Dakota is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and holds her Masters from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
