On #IndiePortugalThursday, we are joined once more on the GMP! by Maria João Silva through her 'Another Side of Portugal' lens.

She is also the author of the books Rich Parent, Poor Parent - Discovering Your Purpose, and The Rich Parent, about positive parenting. She was for 20 years teacher and self-taught researcher in the area of emotional development in childhood.

A mother, writer and illustrator, in addition to books on parenting, she also writes novels and children's books. Maria is a strong activist of the rights of the child and the end of violence against children.

"The world will only change when we radically change the way we look, realize and treat the children," she says.
