Joe remembers his sweet mother, Bess, and the long lasting lesson she taught him while sitting at the dinner table. Bess passed away when Joe was 9, and 50 years later, she lives through him. After years of enduring his father's abuse and other traumas, 16 year old Joe tried to kill his father in self defense after a vicious beating. Spoiler Alert: His father survived and they have built an amazing relationship over time.

Joe discusses his life now as a father homeschooling his daughter, a husband and a co-parent, his relationship with his father, his work in Hollywood, and upcoming projects.
